I've searched this topic and tried the recommendations and my aplitube 5 CS still emits noise every 5 seconds. I have reauthorized in the product manager and restored purchases is the Custom Shop app and still.
Running Logic Pro 10.7.9, rosetta mode, M1 mac running OSX 12.7.6 Monterrey

Typically that happens when running a preset/setup that has an unpurchased item in the signal chain. Please reach out to IK Support via
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/sw and they will assist you directly to see why this is happening in your case.

Thanks Peter.
I sent them a message and they got back to me pretty fast.
They had me click on a filter button in amplitube that filters out any amps or presets I do not own. Once I clicked it, lots of presets in the drop down menu disappeared, including the one I was just using that emitted the noise. Once I selected a new preset, it went away.
Not sure why this isn't in any FAQ. Seems like a basic issue and I was not aware that this button existed. It defaults to showing you all presets, even ones that need purchasing in order to use.
Anyway, thank you.

Sorry to hear that you would prefer to see this in a FAQ but note that the button is in the User Manual for future reference. If support gets a question enough, though, they'll typically put it in a FAQ.

Where is this filter button? I can't find it in the manual. Some presets have a warning icon next to them and then they will have locked gear. Some presets don't have this icon, but still contain locked gear. For example: 'Clean 57 dual mic.
I'm using Amplitube 5, not CS, if that makes a difference.
