you can only swap speakers on cabinets with 12" speakers.
I notice that cabs paired with some of the older AT amp models, so they must be old cab models, such as "4x12 Closed Vintage 1", you can swap the speakers, even though that feature was added later in AT4 I guess.
I've love to hear from Peter or IK about this, it gets to the heart of a question, which is how it all works underneath to decide if its accurate, or just kind of close enough to be able to at least tweak your cabinet sound interactively, which I view as a great advantage...but I'm not sure whether this tweaking with speaker replacement is accurate or not..it would require thousands and thousands of IR's to have all the permutations there and be accurate..
