Latency Issue?

I'm fairly new to recording guitar, so this might be an error on my part. Whenever I play on my guitar through AmpliTube, there is a 1-2 second delay. When I reduce the buffer size, the audio is very glitchy and terrible. How can I fix this issue? I am using a Behringer U-Phoria UMC 22.

Hello holmes9139 and welcome to the forum.

What OS are you using?

Make sure you select the correct drivers for your interface in AT4 and, if it's Windows, you are using an ASIO one, preferably the manufacturer's own drivers.

Also, your processor speed will have a bearing on glitching, but most modern CPUs should be able to handle fairly low latency settings.
