Just installed ST 4.08 and both standalone & VST crash

Just bought ST 4, installed & authorized(4.08) and it crashes within 10 seconds on both standalone and VST(in Midi Guitar 2 and Reaper). I searched and didn't find any similar scenarios.

I should add that is starts building the database to about 15-16%, then crashes.

Windows 10 laptop with ST 3 that still runs OK.

Thoughts? What am I missing?

Thanks, I'll submit a ticket. Given the "2 working days" that I've seen posted, I thought I'd try here first. Some user forums that I'm on for other products have a very high response & success rate.

I’ll give 4.09 a try, but I did just stumble on the root of the issue. It only happens when I’m using my dual monitors through a USB3 dock with my laptop. When I’m not using the external monitors or if I’m using a single monitor via the HDMI port, it works fine. IK support didn’t have a solution or suggestion at this time. The USB dock has the latest drivers as well.
