IK, like many other major audio software & hardware companies recommended and still recommend that users do not update to Catalina. There were some changes made later in the process that affect some of our (and other companies') products that require a non-trivial amount of work to resolve.
In general, it is usually best practice to wait and to not update a new full version operating system early in its lifespan, especially on systems on which you rely for projects, especially if you use your system for commercial purposes/work.
We understand the frustration if you've updated and the developers are hard at work to resolve any Catalina compatibility issues as quickly as possible.
