Amplitube Brian May with Irig HD2?

Postby nicolo.fregnan » Mon Sep 02, 2019 11:11 am

Hello guys, trying to get some answers from the IK Multimedia website but I can't figure it out;
From what I see on the IRig Hd2 description page, the device comes with a full Amplitube software, and you can choose between different versions of Amplitube (like Jimi Hendrix, Slash, etc). The question is: can I select the Amplitube Brian May version, once the Irig HD2 purchase is completed?

Thanks in advice.

Hello Nicolò and welcome to the forum.

Short answer: yes, but not for free.

Yes, iRig HD 2 includes a Serial number for AmpliTube 4 for Mac/PC (available in your User Area after you Register the hardware, I believe). That AT4 product includes the gear models listed here:
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/amplitube4/index.php?p=gear.

The collections such as Jimi Hendrix, Slash, Brian May etc consist of collections of additional gear models that can be added to AT4. Each collection (or individual gear models) can be purchased separately.

Now, if you are definitely going down that path, you could consider joining the Pick&Mix Group Buy (joining ends on 03 September). Buy one of the qualifying products and you can then choose another 7 (currently) free products ("Free products must be of equal or lesser value of the purchased item").

https://www.ikmultimedia.com/pickandmix/

For example you could buy AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix Anniversary and get
-- Ampeg SVX
-- Ampeg SVX 2
-- AmpliTube Metal
-- AmpliTube Orange
-- AmpliTube Slash
-- Dimebag Darrell CFH Collection
-- Fender Collection
free.

Please note that AmpliTube Brian May is a very new product and is NOT included in that Group Buy. You would need to buy that collection separately.
