AmpliTube won’t work with Mojave 10.14.4 ?? [Resolved]

I just bought the new axe I/O that comes with amplitube Deluxe and a brand new MacBook Pro yesterday and can’t get amplitube to work in stand alone app. Haven’t used it as a plug in yet because I haven’t installed a daw yet. Just kind of want to mess with amplitube for a while.

Is anyone else having issues with amplitube working in stand alone on Mac OS Mojave 10.14.4???

I haven't heard of any issues specifically regarding Mojave and AT4.

What issue is it that you're having? Does the app not open at all or can you not get sound?

I get signal and sound into and from both my new axe I/O and my uAD Arrow but no input into the app.

I have the audio/midi settings correct in both scenarios. There is just no signal going into or any sound coming back from the app.

I had a pc before and was using Asio driver but I noticed on the Mac that option is missing.

I can still select my axe or Arrow as my audio in and out though.

I think you've probably fallen foul of the default Mojave Security & Privacy settings trying to be helpful

Go to System Preferences>Security & Privacy and under the Privacy tab you should see Microphone in the left-hand column. Click on that and then select which apps you want to have access to the microphone. Although it is labelled slightly counter-intuitively, this should allow audio to pass from your interface into whatever apps you select. You'll need to do this when you install a DAW and any other standalone audio apps.

Hope that sorts out the issue - let us know if it does.

FYI - ASIO is Windows only, so you won't see that on a Mac.

Sorry, I thought that was going to be an easy fix.

I'm guessing you've already tried re-booting.

Ok, well working with official support will definitely be your best way to a solution. They endeavour to reply to tickets within 1-2 working days.

If you can, please post back when you have fixed the problem letting us know what it was - this could be really helpful for future users.

I have a 2018 MacBook pro and recently updated to Mojave 10.14.4.Since I always use a DAW, I just checked Amp4 as a standalone and it worked with no issues.

I use my Yamaha THR10 amp as my audio interface and set the MIDI Input settings in Amp4 to DI1 and DI2.

I am very new to this so I don't know what the UAD Arrow is, however have you tried just using one interface?
