Authorisation of Sampletank 3 full version

Postby dbosshard » Sat Dec 22, 2018 12:44 pm

Hi

While using the the authorisation manager I unintentionally entered the serial number of the custom shop version of Sampletank 3. Now only very few instruments are available.

I would like to enter my serial number for the full version. But there seems to be no way in the authorisation manager to "un-authorise" a product. Also in the user area I could not find a way to change to the full version.

What can I do?
Thanks for any hints.. :-)

Hello dbosshard and welcome to the forum.

You don't need to de-authorise, just run the Authorisation Manager again and put in the correct serial number for the full product.

Don't forget you'll need to also download and install the full sound library that you can find in your user area.

Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply! It worked. I didn‘t know the manager can be started also as a standalone app outside the DAW. :D

Hey, no problem.

Although not essential, it is often better to start apps in standalone mode first, before opening them in a DAW. No reason other than to insure they're all installed and working correctly (and in the case of ST3 creating the instrument database).
