Amplitube 4 Cab/Room Section

Postby nickbussy » Fri Dec 07, 2018 10:07 am

Hi folks. I found some similar threads but not the right topic, so point me there if there is one.

I was wondering if there is a way to bypass the cab but keep the room mics on a dry signal. Switching off the section will bypass everything and the other option is turning the cab mics down, which works to an extent but the cab choice still affects the tone in the room.

The idea is to bypass the head and cab but be able to use the room mics as a convo to add ambience to a mic'd up acoustic (along with the FX and rack chains). I have a nice room reverb anyway but just thought it might be nice to play with since it is easy to swap out the mics, rooms, width and pan.

Cheers
Nick

Hello nickbussy and welcome to the forum.

That's a nice idea actually, but I don't think it is currently possible in AT4.

If you add it to the AT4 wishlist here viewtopic.php?f=5&t=19889" the request can be relayed to the developers.
