Problem with irig and iPad pro

Postby andrej.babic » Sat Dec 01, 2018 3:46 pm

Hello,

I bought iPad Pro 2018. and I want to use GarageBand with my irig. It is classic irig - headphones and guitar input. I also bought 3,5mm to usb c cable, cause iPad Pro has usb c.

Headphones work, but when I record guitar or voice, it doesn’t have good enough signal. It’s almost silence. But at the same time, it records other tracks from the song while I record voice or guitar. Guitar signal is a little higher then mic

Can anyone help ? Thanks

I'm not sure the original iRig will work with a third-party USB-C to headphone/3.5mm adapter. It will typically work with the Apple-provided adapters on Lightning devices, though.

However, this is really something you'd want to work with IK Support on directly and they can be reached at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support

Thank you.
