I was seriously considering picking up the iRig Keys to have a portable keyboard which I can connect to my iPad, to make making music on the go a possibility. But, after some research I stumbled upon a couple of threads here on /r/ipadmusic and they stated that the producer (IK) makes absolutely **** products, so I'm a little bit in the dark now, becuase it looks like they are the only player on the market right now offering that product.

While it's a bit unclear what the/r/ipadmusic thread has against the iRig Keys, I will be more than happy to check into this. I can assure you in the meantime the iRig Keys is a great product. This product will work on Mac/PC, iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod), and compatible Android devices. All necessary cables should be included to get you started and the device even includes a 1-Year warranty was well as some great software to get you started.
