Can someone pls inform me if I need to register in order to use the free part of amplitube?
If yes what do I enter in the registration key field?
Thank you

Hello ioannis and welcome to the forum.

As you now have an IK Multimedia User Account, you already have AmpliTube Custom Shop (that is, the free edition).

If you go to your User Area / My Products:
http://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea/my-products/ you will see it listed there. Then if you click on "Serials/Authorizations" you will see the Serial Number to use.

Download and install the latest Authorisation Manager, from here
http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/authorizationmanager/. Run that and follow the instructions to Authorise AmpliTube. Then you should be good to go.

For AmpliTube Custom Shop - for ever.

You can try out other gear models (details of how are in the AmpliTube Custom Shop user manual). Each one can be tried for 48 hours.

One last question (hopefully :D )

Is the Behringer UC6102 interface compatible?

As long as you have an ASIO interface per the Specs page at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/am ... shop-specs you will be fine:
Requires an ASIO compatible sound card.

Hi Dark Star,

I have downloaded the custom shop & Amplitube 4 apps. Whenever I run Amplitube is asks me to authorize. When I use the serial number from my user area, I get "403 error serial number all ready registered by another user"

Do I need to register to use the free amps? If I buy amps in custom shop can I use those in the free Amplitube 4?

Thanks!

Yes and yes.

As for the 403 error, please contact IK Multimedia Support who will be able to investigate and sort out the problem:

I opened a support ticket. If my demo expires before IK contacts me can I still use the free mode? I want to buy custom shop amps and I learn. Drummer learing bass. :P
