Stability of ST 3.7x on Windows 10 (64 bit)

I am running dev track updates on 64 bit Windows 10 and SampleTank was nearly unusable for me.

Did hang or crash every few minutes. I ended up running in win 7 compatibility mode and
with admin privs. This seems to mitigate the problems.

Hi, you may still want to report your experience to the support team as they can troubleshoot further. This is not the normal behavior/stability.

Initially I did not realize I had to re-register it after upgrading to 3.7
and it was hanging and crashing every couple of minutes.
After I registered it, it gotten better and it would only crash and hang every 10 minutes.
I figured it was a feature. :)

TBT I am on Windows Insider Updates, fast track, although Windows has been
pretty amazingly stabile, all things considered.

If I see it again I will collect some data. What they usually need?
Crash dump?

I am a software engineer, so I can do some spelunking if that's useful.

Crash dump would be good, you may want to check with support directly if there is further "spelunking" you can do as they'd be best-equipped to let you know what else they might need/appreciate/want/etc. Thanks!

When you say check with support etc.. does that imply that the support people do not read this forum? How one may talk to them?

Do you mean email ? Call ? what?

Hi, this forum is meant for user-to-user communication and regular IK updates and news but is not a medium for technical support (it is written at the beginning of the rules to which users agree upon registering here).

The best way to get technical support would be to open a ticket at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support

Already done. Note that this occurs after a few seconds of playing either Sampletank or Miroslav 2 but not syntronik
