Not able to record on Sample Tank 3

Hello All!

I'm kind new into this stuff but I really feel like a dumb....
How am I not able to find any "record" button on Sample Tank?

Can someone help me with this??

SampleTank 3 on Mac/PC does not have built-in recording. You can use SampleTank 3 in DAW programs which support VST, AU, or AAX format virtual instrument plugins.

No, you're not dumb - there isn't one.

SampleTank 3 is a sounds library player. SampleTank 3 is " the most advanced sound workstation available on the market today. It features a constantly expanding world of sounds, advanced playing and editing features and a full suite of studio-quality effects."

To record MIDI used to trigger ST3 or the audio that it outputs, you'll need some sort of Digital Audio Workstation host.

I really enjoy Studio One 3 as my DAW. I actually use my DAW more to make risers, drops, buildups...etc. After a bounce and save as WAV, it imports into ST3. Pretty awesome. If you are looking for something free, look at bedroomproducersblog.com. There is a great collection of free DAWs, VSTs, FX, etc...
