Change Amplitube 4 preset with midi controller within Reaper

Hi,

I use Reaper as my DAW, I like the demos i hear of A4, if I buy can I assign midi controller to change A4 presets?

Can I set/learn etc A4 so a key/button on midi keyboard or novation launchpad etc change me to that preset? Or other way Reaper users can use A4 for "live" preset changes?

Not looking to just have toggle up down really looking to choose/assign an A4 preset to a midi CC from Reaper or other work around to get same result?

Yes, but you have to create a separate track to receive your MIDI, then send that track's MIDI to your AmpliTube track. It's stupid, but possible. Also, I think you must use PC instead of CC to change presets.

Here, I can see the MIDI lef blinking on amplitube plugin, but the preset don't change.

My friend, tried the exactly same steps and on his case it worked.
I know that he is using a pretty old version of reaper, from 2018 I guess and amplitube is not also up to date.

The difference I have noticed between their setup than mine is just one, can see on the attached image.

the preset number is shown on the little rectangle (]https://pasteboard.co/JzE3V3T.png), in our case, we used preset 001 and 002.
Any idea about what am I doing wrong?

Are you using VST2 or VST3?
Program Change Messages don't work in VST3.
You need to use VST2.
