Installing ST3 (on OSX Sierra) [Resolved]

not sure the order to procede with the multple downloads
I did this

1 sampletank 3 se 3.6.6B --> OK, as well the authorisation
2 sound content part 1 --> didn't go well, "aborted: no sound content found"
(first un-zipped), then running the installation, but that went wrong)
3 sound content part 2 --> didn't go well, "aborted: no sound content found"
4 library update 3.5 --> didn't go well, "aborted: no sound content found"

What did I wrong?

I,ve got the same problem in Mac Sierra 10.12.1.
No sound content found etc..
Sampletank is useless att the moment.

What's wrong??

Support does handle tickets, so please make sure to check your spam/junk folder if you haven't heard from them. Did you get an initial autoresponse with a ticket number? If so, please provide that and I can have someone look into what happened. Thank you.

Guess SampleTank still isn't compatible with sierra. That's a shame. I did a clean update to sierra because I was having computer freezing problems and hoped that would fix it. It didn't. And now I'm stuck waiting for SampleTank to be made compatible so I can move on with recording my album. Really didn't think it would take this long. All my other plugins installed fine.

All problems are solved for me. The problem was that the Sound content zip's were not unzipped correctly. The standard unzip program on my Mac did not unzip the files correctly, so there was nothing to install. Not even with the unzip program The Unarchiver. IK send me a link with a correct unzip program, I used that and all the sound content is installed now and working perfect.
So, Sampletank works in Mac OSX Sierra also, if you use the correct unzip program.

If you unzip all files with this program everything will work correct.

This is much appreciated, thank you. I guess just unzipping the files and then running the installer as normal is all that's needed? I guess you aren't talking about unpacking the actual installer files or doing anything manual like that?

I unzipped the downloaded zipfiles from IK and then run the installer you just unzipped, run as normal, and if everything is okay it will install the sound content etc. correctly in your SampleTank directory.

For sure, I installed SampleTank itself also in this way.

It all worked for me too. Thank you so much! I've been missing SampleTank so much since sierra came out. I tried to replace it with Native Instruments Komplete but that just doesn't have the same charm in the strings/woodwind department. Now feel like I can finally get on with doing the recording I've been waiting to do, so thanks.

It seems the unzipping problem was the origin of the problem.

I'm having trouble installing the sounds. I've done the steps detailed here but I still have the error of no content found, installation aborted. I've also installed KEKA for unzipped files. Any ideas??? I have a MAC with Sierra OS.
