ARC 3 is removing all low-end

Postby laserbeak43 » Sun Jul 06, 2025 7:42 pm

Hi,
I have 2.1 powered monitor setup with KRK Rokit 5s and a KRK S8.4 sub in a medium-sized furnished master bedroom. I'm using the ARC 3 with MEMS Microphone package.
I have my initial room measurement, but never liked it, because it just sounds like a high-pass filter.
So I decided to make a new one today and there isn't much difference.
Bedroom preset is the first measurement.

It takes some mud out of the mix and that's cool but the mixes loose all of its warmth and I can't do much to add it back without bypassing ARC altogether.

Also, just added a compressor on the master, behind ARC and ARC is peaking, but master isn't.

Does ARC 4 fix this?
When I bought ARC3, it came with a free upgrade to 4, but I don't know how to redeem it.
I've sent an email to support about it.

After a bit of RTFM, I noticed that I was using it wrong. I'm supposed to turn it off, before rendering. I think I might be able to work with it a bit better now...
