use the tonex pedal as audio interface but with the presets saved on the pedal, without the need of the tonex software

This is exactly how it currently works.. you can record the pedal as an interface using the presets from the pedal. You don't need the software if you work this way.

Add an option to have the stereo effects summed to mono when using DUAL interface mode. Currently only the left hand side of the effect is output.

In interface mode, I don’t get anything out of my pedal. I have an empty slot on bank 49 and I have to use the Tonex software.

I really wish IK would add another capture block to use an overdrive pedal together with amp captures. For me, that would be the final evolution of the pedal, because it would allow us to combine a Klon we like with an AC30 from another producer, merging them in a single preset. This would exponentially increase the range of tones we could achieve. To me, this is the most urgent update — it would make the Tonex a complete solution for replicating both drives and amps, without the need for additional pedals in that regard!

That would double the needed resources, which is not supportable on the pedal. You cannot add another capture to pedals that are created to support a single capture.

I'd be very surprised if the current pedals have enough processing power to run two tone models at the same time ( plus effects). Can't see this happening... You can of course do this in AT5.. and a Tonex one can be put in front of a Tonex pedal. But don't hold your breath waiting for another tone model in the pedal. Just my opinion.

Is this based on any technical information already released by IK? Because the pedal was built with stereo output, which led to a lot of speculation that at some point it might support using different captures for the left and right channels. If that’s possible in any way, then obviously it should also be possible to add a dedicated block for overdrive or distortion, combined with the amp and cab capture.

TONEX Pedal and TONEX ONE have always only loaded one Tone Model, that has been part of the specifications from the start. For the price point that is already very powerful, but we were able to add FX (algorithmic, though, so this does not use any of the resources necessary for the ability to load and play a Tone Model) and more features. To have hardware that would support multiple captures simultaneously would increase the price quite a bit.
Let's get back to feature requests, though, per the initial post's instructions. Thank you.

This is a support issue - raise a support ticket or check out the various Youtube videos on the topic. In Interface mode there is no output from the pedal - you need to route the USB output into a DAW and monitor the pedal output that way. Jason Sadites on YT has lots of videos on this type of stuff.

[mod redacted - let's keep it to feature requests]
1. OVERDRIVE BLOCK! - I see this suggestion everywhere, not only for people who own the pedal/software, but for people who are looking to buy them. They already have thousands of pedal captures on their software, we just don't want to have to load a second instance of the software or WORSE buy another unit just to load a pedal on to it!!
2. Pitch shift/transpose. - There is just simply no pitch features.
