Iloud Monitor Pro - Firmware Failed

Postby Smulle89 » Sat Feb 01, 2025 10:21 am

Hi!

So, I just bought a new pair of Iloud Micro Pro. However, no matter what I try they don't seem to be able to upgrade the firmware. I just get "failed to upgrade firmware" on both speakers. And then the light turn blue and I get no sound from them. I then have to replug them in again to get that cyan-light from the again.

I've tried (1) reconnecting them (2) using different usb-cables (3) launched them in DPU-mode (however they don't seem to launch in that mode, and I cant make "recovery"). Tried it only with one speaker connected. And also tried connecting them to different usb-ports on my computer.

Also if i try factory reset it doesn't seem to initiate.

Someone else solved this type of problem? :?

Regards // Samuel

This is something that would need to be reported to IK Support via ticket which you can do here https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/hw

Yeah I did exactly that. However, all I got as a reply from Jason: "Is X monitor prompting you that you need to update the firmware?"

And I replied that X-monitor did. And wrote that I was not satisfied with the answer. However, I did not get any reply...

I did solve the problem, and the problem seem to be that updating the firmware from a windows computer is not possible. I had to borrow a mac computer, update the firmware, and then I could use the windows PC with the monitors.

I’m working here on a Mac and experienced the mentioned problem… the transition from Windows to macOS did not work for me, at least.

If you have a ticket that has not been handled to your satisfaction please see the Forum Guidelines post at viewtopic.php?f=10&t=19505 where you'lld what to do in those situations in order to get your request escalated. Thank you.
