ToneX with Amplitube

Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying a ToneX for a bass,

a sales advisor tells me that it is possible to make your own presets with Amplitube,

the computer connected to the pedal via USB.

We could use any pedal/effect/combo that Amplitube offers,

then save the presets in the ToneX to finally use our presets live independently (without having to connect the computer),
and according to him with almost zero latency.

Can we really do this?

You cannot load AmpliTube presets on TONEX Pedal/ONE. You can use TONEX Tone Models inside AmpliTube software, though.

TONEX Pedal and TONEX ONE will only load TONEX Tone Models, not AmpliTube. They are completely different technologies.

So I'll turn to ToneX Mac/PC.
I see that the latest version offers effects pedals,
Can we make a preset with overdrive, distortion and fuzz and save it in the pedal?

You can make a preset using Tone Models so amp/cab (and stomp if included in the Tone Model too), plus the settings and FX available in TONEX for transfer to the pedal.

There are many Tone Models, some are amp/cab, some are pedals only, some are both. You can find a list of the models included with each product on the TONEX pages on our web site.
