How to Uninstall SampleTank 4 on Mac?

Postby - » Thu Oct 31, 2024 11:51 pm

I want to uninstall all the software listed below. I know most of them are instruments, but I don't want to spam the whole forum with the same question in each board.

I've read the FAQs and searched the forum. Maybe my search-foo is weak today, but all I have found is people expressing their frustration that the Product Manager doesn't have an "Uninstall" feature.

Any instructions or directions to instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Software I want to uninstall: T-RackS 5 CS, Syntronik 2 CS, SampleTank 4 CS, MODO DRUM CS, MODO BASS 2 CS, MixBox CS

You can navigate to the installation directory of each software (typically found in C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86)). Look for an uninstaller executable (often named uninstall.exe or similar) and run it. Follow the prompts to uninstall.

I have the same question as the OP. I am a bit astonished to see the only reply here is completely ignoring the "on Mac" part of the question. I can't find any IK related uninstaller on my system.
It is really annoying that the so-called Product Manager does not manage removing of a product.

Edit: sorry for my user name that seems a bit inappropriate for a forum. That just happens to be the user name name I registered my products under. I am not trying to be an imposter and am in no way related to IK Multimedia other than being a customer.

If this isn't what you're asking, then I apologize, but I removed SampleTank 4 by clicking "Finder" (first Icon on the bottom left of my screen), that opened a window with choices stacked on the left hand side. I chose "Applications", then I just clicked on the "Sample Tank 4" Icon and drug it to the Trash can in the lower right corner. Poof, it was gone.

I then re-installed everything to an external drive. I only mention this because if you want to do that, make sure you format the drive as exFat, else any instrument/file over 8 gb will fail to install.
