tonex max 1.8.1 and amplitube 5 latest update failing

hi all! got a problem with tonex max and amplitube app installer. it seems that its being flagged as potential threat and that it cannot be installed on windows 11 23h2 OS build 22631.4460. what changed? The 1.8 update installed without errors.

I was able to install it after disabling but i cannot create any folders on Home>Presets etc. I have to disable back the antivirus for me to create the folder. Need the fix asap.

I am using crowdstrike and the other is windows defender as my antivirus software. The fix is disabling the antivirus.

ohh well... i hope someone from IK tech team can answer this. Below is my ticket number but i have not received any response after i uploaded a video that they were asking. it's frustrating.

Here's a clearer breakdown for anyone else facing the same issue with Tonex 1.8.1 update:

1. Open **File Explorer**.
2. Navigate to: **Documents > IK Multimedia > IK Product Manager > Tonex**.
3. Locate the compressed file: **Install_TONEX_(1.8.1)**.
4. Right-click on the file and select **Extract All**.
5. Once extraction is complete, open the folder named **Install_TONEX_(1.8.1)**.
6. Double-click on **Install TONEX (1.8.1)** to run the installer.

This resolves the corrupt file issue. Happy music-making!!!
