Pianoverse Buffer Problem

Postby isikaka » Sun Oct 27, 2024 5:49 pm

hello evernyone, i've just bought Pianoverse but after playing a few notes or chords each time , no longer will be any notes to hear.. I've never had any issue with other plugins like this..
Midi trigger does work , even you can trigger with mouse definetly.. but aint no sound at all..

I've tried different buffer and resolution options..

My setup is: Imac 2020 inteli9 ssd drive / SONOMA 14.6.1
Apollo twin X for mac.

Any idea pls?

48k is the best option, as submissions to Aggregators for Spotify, etc are best at 48k/24bit.

My issue is excessive DSP use...iMac 2018 I7 quad core 4.2/32 gig ram.
Since the latest update about 2 weeks ago, on instantiation, (I've got the Yamaha Grand)..with all the FX and such disabled, and the buffer at 2048, the session rat at 48k 64 bit floating, PV is using about 30% of my resources..it didn't previously to the update. This is with no other VI instantiated (all off)...and low resource FX in my FX rack (Cubase 14 Pro).

I realize this is a very "weighty" instrument..and a grea sounding one, but IMO a bit to resource intensive.
