My Echoman pedal disappeared...

...in the chain somewhere. But I can still hear it. I was moving the effect into the chain when my finger slipped while it was gliding over the amp block. Disappeared into that block and now I can't find it, but it's working without any way for me to adjust it! Has this ever happened to anyone else? Help! Thanks!
