My new song

Postby Riff_Lovely » Sat Aug 17, 2024 9:29 pm

Hello everybody ! Here is my new song. This is working version. Dont pay attention to bass guitar
, I didn't know how to play it, so I tried something to no avail. I sang with the help of AI, so it sounds better than when I sing, at least I don't cringe when I hear myself. I imagined that it should be sung with some higher tones, but even AI can't help me there  . I also cloned my voice into the female backing vocals on the chorus. I just let the drum play the finished pattern to accompany me in the song. I came up with some more adds to the song, but I'm putting this version for now.

Hey Riff,

Thanks for sharing this song – I think it has some super potential despite what you’ve explained. Composition and arrangement are solid and sounds good for a working copy…including the vocals which I know you (and many of us) struggle with. I’m not sure how you’re using AI for the vox but it seems to be working out for you – would be nice when the song is further along to get “real” vox on there…..don’t want the machines taking over quite yet! :o

The second part of the chorus (?) gives me some Red Hot Chili Peppers vibe and that lead section after the second chorus could really rock.

Good stuff. Please repost when the song is further along! 8-)

Hi Michael, Cloning a voice is very simple. There are sites (which are paid for), so I will not advertise them. you sing something and it transforms your voice. Most sites try to make your voice look like a certain singer, for example Plant, Elvis, Morrison, Iggy, etc... But it didn't really give the best results for me (the AI is not omnipotent :D ). I currently use one site that has the best results for me and doesn't try to imitate a specific singer, but is more general. Unfortunately I am forced to use Ai. That's my new singer :D .

The song sounded like RHCP to me from the beginning. I didn't mean it to sound like anyone, but that's how it turned out.

Thank you for listening

I'm waiting for your songs
Take care

Hey Riff, what a nice surprise! :)

I agree with Michael, I'm tasting a very strong pepper with this one.

As Always, however you record your guitar work, the tonality is very impressive, I am always blown away no matter what the track, clean or dirty. 8-)

This sounds like a new adventure for you, an experiment or maybe just fun, either way it is a great draft for what I believe will be a energetic and great piece of work.

So now, let's talk about AI, it's about time we had a discussion in this forum!! :?

There is no more of a contentious subject within the arts, but particularly musical production/composition, than AI at this moment.

In brief, I like the idea of it, but within my own personal usage, which is a home user with a personal recording studio that I make no revenue from. Outside of that, I believe there is great concern in the professional forum. In the manner that you are using in Riff, I think it's perfect, you're looking for a little bit of support for ideas and maybe a little bit of pitch correction.

Great work dude, don't be afraid of the AI Neigh Sayers, they have their own journey to travel.

Cheers, CS. :)

Hello CS.
I'm glad you listened to my song and liked it. Unfortunately, I'm forced to use AI to make my song sound a little nicer, because I can't really sing and my voice sounds bad, so it ruins the whole song. Although I do not like what is happening with it and in which direction it will go.
But we make music for our own pleasure anyway.
Take care!

I have some modifications regarding the text and music. and I will add them soon, because the text was not for this song, so I have to fit it a little better, and I also added some guitar parts, to break up the monotony a little so that the same riff doesn't go on all the time. But I haven't recorded anything yet, but I will in the next few days. I'm still working on a couple of new songs in parallel.
Expecting one of your songs soon
