MIDI LEARN !!

There CANNOT be a plugin with a Wah without midi learn
And all those lovely filters beg to be tweaked.
Plus this is pitched as useable for live so definitely need easy midi learn integration for this too.

Midi learn shouldn't be terribly hard to code for such a ROCKSTAR company like IK Multimedia so PLEASE integrate MIDI LEARN so we can all tweak this baby more easily ;)

The preset system would be stronger if we could add favourites.
Simple, a little one star system, greyed to start with, bright if added.
Helps with browsing quickly.

Other things that would help massively are midi learn and dry wet slider automation.
please IK .. These last two are really needed features 8-)

PARAMETER CONSISTENCY

You pick a reverb. Tweak it to your liking.
Decide to switch to a different reverb to compare. Boom, radical different settings, impossible to compare.
In such scenarios it would be extremely useful to match settings as close as possible (eg decay, wet/dry etc..) making the comparison switch much more effective.
I believe this should be the case by default, in every scenario. But could also be a global setting, or some kind of parameter lock button, but I think for most users it will make sense to keep consistency.

Works for reverbs, delays, even compressors with similar threshold, make up gain, etc.. Of course not all plugins work the same so there might not be a straight A to B parameter match, but I believe there could be a bit of a smarter programming, some kind of parameter translation matrix.

That, and add the almighty midi learn, and rack dry/wet automation.
Please please please IK. We need this, like yesterday. Last year. Tomorrow.
Please add midi learn and rack dry/wet automation.

Midi Learn would be nice, a update to use less CPU and also update with more modules, even if we got to pay for them as add on.

The ability to apply FX to only a certain part of the frequency spectrum would be awesome.
Eg rack 1 saturator applied to low frequency only, rack 2 delay applied to high frequency, that kind of process. Multiband per slot, maybe as a section at the bottom where the dry wet mix sliders are.
That, and MIDI learn and dry wet automation. Please IK.

1: Stealth Limiter. As mentioned;
2: 432 split into two modules A: Hi & Low's plus 1 x mid band: B: two x mid bands.
3: Dyna Mu
4: Precision Comp

You got to keep developing MIXBOX it's really good and users gave you LOTS of excellent ideas, some of them resumed here :

ESSENTIAL :
- Overall dry/wet mix
- MIDI Learn, 200% a must have
- Slots Dry / Wet automation availability in the DAW for parallel mixing
- GUI review for text size so it's easier to read

WOULD BE NICE :
- Presets favourite with an on/off star system or a rating system
- transient shaper
- EQ high bands on top
- multiband / M/S
- modulation system / LFO with macro controls
- Customizable Default State for each rack
- Saturation and Output linking (Sat X)
- additional special add-ons for purchase

Let's do it IK !

Not sure if this has been requested, but would be great to have an HP and LP filter on the main interface/rack at the input stage.

Hello All,

I purchased IK Mix Bus yesterday and I love it as it has lots of FX. My only complaint is that it does not contain a separate VU Meter with gain control. I can't see how this arsenal of FX was created and a VU Meter was left out of it. IK Multimedia, can you possibly add one as an update.

Thanks

Not sure if you noticed the VU meters both for input and output on the far left and far right of the GUI, with gain controls.
I find I often need to crank up the input gain and reduce the output.

I REALLY wish IK implements MIDI learn for easy tweaking, as well as dry/wet automation for parallel mix processing automation for mixing ...... PLEASE IK!
