I have a double sound issue

Postby RaeRoxwell » Mon Mar 11, 2024 8:14 pm

Hello everyone,

I just recently got sampletank4 and got my Roland TD-17 E-kit all hooked up via USB. I set my instrument output to channel 10 and am able to get my e-drums to trigger the sounds of my VST but the Roland brain is also outputting its samples. So now I'm left with double sounds from my Roland brain and ST4. If anyone could help me with this issue I would be ever so grateful!

The Roland kit will have a setting named "Local Sound" or similar . Turn that off and you should hear only the sounds from ST4.

Thanks, DarkStar! Any chance you can help with my latency issue? It's way off at the moment.

Are you using an ASIO audio interface? Which one?

And is it selected in ST4 / your DAW?

I'm not using an Asio interface. Is it necessary? I'm trying to record session tracks for people. I'm not opposed to getting an interface but it wasn't in the budget, for now. I use Ableton Lite to record but sometimes I just want to jam and not record but the latency is pretty troublesome. it's probably .05 seconds off but enough to notice.
