A Little More Than I Need

Postby danwilson5 » Sun Mar 10, 2024 6:28 pm

Hi All,

Here is a new one that my brother and I wrote. I used the usual plugins - Black 76, White 2A, Tape Echo, AmpliTube 5 etc. Any constructive criticism about the mix would be appreciated.

Thanks for listening

Dan

Hey Dan! Fantastic classic rock song. You produced it great. The sound of the guitars is delicious. As always, you sang great. Another beautiful song from your workshop. Greetings to you and your brother. Rock on.

Hey Dan,

Wow, another great track from the Brother's Wilson. This baby just all adds up.....great sounds, performances, arrangement (like the how the guitar lead part transitions to the breakdown especially) and a really nice mix.

Glad you two are still cranking them out as we all benefit!

Hope you will have another to share soon as well!

Take care,
Michael

Great track guys and a really nice crisp recording and production.

The mix I would say is excellent, but I did find myself in places listening for the bass which seemed to get a little lost behind the rest of the mix.

Guitar tone is a great classic rock tone, which of course suits the song perfectly (and I love) 8-).

Again, as always, really nice work guys.

Cheers, CS. :)
