Switching between clean and overdrive/distortion with foot

Is it possibility to use to amps for overdrive and clean sound, and use a foot controller to change it? Anyone have a solution for this? Any pedal board to recommend?

Yes, the IKM IRig Stomp I/O was designed to do this and it did that function quite well for me in stomp mode to turn pedals on/off for an amp or in normal mode to switch between amps, but it seems it is no longer in production. I believe most midi controllers would work.
