Buying Tonex Used from Guitar Center

Hi, so I’m considering trading in gear to my local GC to get a used Tonex pedal, but I’m curious how license transferring would work if, say the employee buying it in doesn’t know about the license and didn’t bother to get any info on it.
Don’t you need the serial numbers from the previous owner? Will IK honor the purchase and provide you with the serial numbers? Or would you need to track them down? Would be a problem if getting it shipped from another store.

Yes, you would need the Serial Number(s) and, yes, they would need to be Transferred by the previous user.

The best thing to do is contact Sales Support, via the Support page on the IKM web site (you will need to Search the faqs first) for some specific advice
