UNINSTALL

Postby centersj » Tue Aug 02, 2022 1:42 pm

I just want to completely uninstall ALL IK Multimedia software completely from my Mac. This bundle and related plugins has been wreaking havoc on my system. I want to remove all plugins, then completely remove the product manager.

Where is the uninstaller located? What's the process to wipe all IK multimedia products from my Mac?

Thanks in advance!

There should be an uninstaller in the downloaded DMG file that you can run. Those downloaded files are saved in the location set in your IK Product Manager settings.

Thanks for the reply.

That folder doesn't exist, nor does the one in settings so where can I obtain the uninstaller?

The folder should exist - what folder is specified in IK Product Manager's Preference Settings?

Of course you may have deleted the downloaded files and not backed them up. If so, go to your User Area / My Products. Then for each product, select the [Past releases] tab. You should see the download file there. Download it and extract the uninstaller from there (I do not know how to do that in OSX).

You uninstalled by re-downloading the installers - or finding something in the Preferences folder?? I need to do the same.

Has anyone ever figured out how to uninstall just one product, ie: like Miroslav?

It's giving me problems across platforms and I just want to get rid of it.

On macOS, the installer image contains the uninstaller script.:

It has the uninstaller for the Product Manager but none other that I can find.

I wish it were like other effects, where you can uninstall it. I know I can probably do it from the control panel but I ported the samples from my old Windows 10 computer to this new Windows 11. Unfortunately I think I'll have to do a clean delete and uninstall of everything to make it register/work.

You can use Add/Remove Programs on Windows systems, like you would with other applications.

You mean with the Control Panel? Yeah, I did end up doing that.

The main issue was when I changed to a new computer I though I could copy the samples from my old sample drive and just install Miroslav on the new computer but apparently it doesn't work that way.
