Current S4 Sale.Upgrade From What..S4CS and/or S3?

I'm a bit confused. Logged into IK and I'm offered S4 Max v2 at the current sale offering.
But it says it's an upgrade price. I have S3 but I never installed S4CS.
If this is an upgrade, what is it upgrading from? S4CS? In that case do I need to install that first for this upgrade to work? Or will it upgrade from my S3?

If you are seeing upgrade pricing you qualify for that pricing and will receive the full product so no worries there. Recently IK introduced a wider "upgrade for all" policy so any paid product makes you eligible so enjoy the lower price!

Great and I hear you. I need one for samples and an additional new backup drive. I'll have to check out OWC and similar to see what specials they have going on!
