Is it possible for AmpliTube 5 to do software drop tuning? I currently own a _ that does this and allows you to save presets to automatically drop tune without altering the guitar strings.
Especially useful for very low tunings where I find the strings go a little loose for liking

There are pitch pedal and rack unit models. Whammy, octavers, harmonizers.
There is a basic pitch shift pedal you can use for lower tunings, just choose the semitone and turn the level up. It does muddy the tone when on even with the pitch settings at 0. It can get glitchy. There is noticeable latency. Not as good as a hardware drop pedal from Digitech, EHX, or TC.

I have one guitar in standard D and another with a D-Tuna for this. I find the simulated tuning isn't at the level of real tuning yet.
