Last year I had message
ERR connection refused when trying to
Get on website.
It's been ok for about 6 months
Now this problem again?
I've tried 50 websites on broadband all
Working.ik not.
Anyone experienced this problem?
I turned modem off for an hour but still the same

This was a big problem in 2020
So Ik know about it but say it's my provider
I'm running at 80mbps download
24 Mbps upload

Our site is up and running, we have a redundant setup and downtime is minimal. Typically if you use a tool like https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ikmultimedia.com you'll know immediately if it is the IK site or something on your side or between you and IK. Check any local firewalls or similar software and your HOSTS file.

Hi Peter went to site and I'm up and working
Still I'm getting ERR_refused connection
I'm on my mobile data doing this.
I've reset modem but still cannot get on website or ik manager on broadband.no firewall
This problem went away and came back this morning

If you are not familiar with the HOSTS file, I'd suggest searching for resources on it because it might not be a great idea to edit it if you are not familiar with that file at all. Or IK Support can provide direct technical assistance more reliably than I could. Thank you.

Because we are not responsible. None of our software changes your HOSTS file, nor has any of our software ever changed your HOSTS file. We also know what kind of things DO change your HOSTS file and we know why people whose HOSTS files have been altered won't admit that they've used such "tools"...

So please consider your next posts with regard to the forum rules as we have a zero tolerance policy on the one topic plus there are other rules that seem to be dangerously close to being violated in this thread.
