AmpliTube 5 MAX: First Time User, which download do I get?

Hi,

I want to order AmpliTube MAX5.

I have a trial version of AmpliTube 5.

Can I just order what the Ordering System suggests which in my case is AmpliTube 5 MAX (Download Only)?

When I use the eligibility check page at
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/eligibilitycheck/index.php?a=amplitube-5-max,
I get a suggestion that I can only get the AmpliTube 5 MAX Upgrade (Download Only).

Can you help?
or should I just order what the ordering system suggests which is the first option mentioned above?

"AmpliTube 5 MAX Upgrade " is the same product as "AmpliTube 5 MAX" but at an upgrade (reduced) price.

You qualify for the upgrade price as you have a Qualifying Product (one with a list price or 99 $/€ or more) Registered to your User Account.

Make a note of the Upgrade price, then log out and check the price again - you will see that it is higher, That higher price is what someone would pay if they did not have a Qualifying Product in their Account.

I did logout and yet I see Amp 5 Max at $99.99.
For me to complete the transaction I have to login and then I get only the option to buy
AmpliTube 5 MAX (Download Only) and not the upgrade option, which is greyed out. If I try to select that it says I dont qualify.

This means the system thinks I am a new user/buyer.

I will proceed with the option.

Yes, that is exactly my confusion.
Never purchased any product from IKM.

Have Trial versions of Amp 5, Custom Shop, ARC System 3.
I can see then in the IK Product Manager.

The Eligibility page is a source of confusion.

Ah, hold on a moment - it's best to look at the Upgrades/Crossgrades section of your User Area on the IKM web site. That Eligibility page shows a long list of (sometimes confusing) products that would qualify you for the Upgrade/Crossgrade.

Anyway, as you have said that you have not bought ant IKM products before, then you would not qualify for any Upgrade and would pay the full price for AT5MAX. But, after you have bought it then you would get some JamPoints from the purchase and AT5MAX would be a qualifying Product for future purchases of other IKM products.

No crossgrade/upgrade eligibility at this time.

You are right because of Promo, regardless if you have bought before or new user the price is $99.99 for Amp 5 Max.

Hello,
I had similar situation having downloaded the CS version.
Now I bought the AT5 MAX with the Promotional Black Friday at 99$.
No problem. Works. I registered the product with the serial number received and now
the CS is changed in the purchased version.

I bought the AT5 Max and have registered the serial number, but my IK Product manager just shows AT5 (Yellow Icon).

How can I download AT5 Max and Install it?

Just use that same install button with the yellow icon. When you run AT5 you should have all of the gear available (except for the X-Gear plugs).

The yellow AmpliTube 5 icon is for all of the different products in the AmpliTube 5 family. Click the [Products] tabs to see exactly which AT5 products are Registered / Authorised.

The same applies to the other families of products.

I thought I saw the latest upgrade bundle had the ToneX and the Amplitube 5 both upgrade to the Max for the same price, But I'm not sure of the details. Kinda cool, and I think the AXE I/O is the same thing as the other input device. It has a lot of IR's and New amp tones. If the AT5M isn't enough. LOL At least you can use yours I cant get mine working and it's been months. I had is going for a while but was unable to access about half the stuff so I tried to reload it and now I have nothing. lol
