Syntronik 2.1.0 update - Email said it contains Synth-X

Hi,

Received an email today from IK MM for the Syntronik 2.1.0 update, the email says:

"This new version features the addition of the new Synth-X synth,"

I installed the update and there's no Synth-X to be found in the list of "Models" on the left hand panel. Same synths that I had in the original Syntronik 2 Max. Is there something extra that needs to be downloaded? The update seemed to install fine with no errors and I verified that Syntronik says v2.1.0 so not sure how to have Synth-X included.

It is available for purchase.

In the release notes it clarifies:

- Added support for new Synth-X synth

Thanks for clarifying. They probably want to change the wording of the Syntronik 2 update email that is sent out because it literally says this below:

"This new version features the addition of the new Synth-X synth,""

So Syntronic 2 Max doesn't contain Synth-X?

I installed the latest version and definitely doesn't contain Synth-X, also confirmed by Peter above.

Synth-X is available for purchase in the new version.

After I installed the update it automatically started downloading the 168gb of sound files for all the synths, which took all day.

If they'd been clearer that Synth-X wasn't actually included, I could have saved both them and myself some bandwidth, and presumably some Co2.

MAX products/versions contain the gear stated on the site which is what was available when they were released. Your input has been relayed to the team that creates the update emails.

Please also note that you still would need to update to get bug fixes, optimizations, etc that come with the update and it is recommended to run the latest version for this reason.
