Miroslav Philharmonik 2 Monterey Logic 10.7 Cuts Notes Short

Forgive if already covered.

Totally repeatable. Load in MP2 in Logic (10.7.x) and say, choose the GRND PNO
Play notes. Many note are cut short - meaning they sound, they start to play and then stop and don't ring out.

Any clue on how to make this work?

One thought: Load up the Sample Tank 4 plugin -
Load in the same piano - it plays.

Why?

Can support fix this please?

What MIDI controller are you using?

That's quite a few..... and I can't imagine it happening with all.

I was just making sure you don’t have an older keyboard that issues a CC123>0 MIDI event when the sustain pedal is lifted.

Just another question. Does MP2 cut the notes off in standalone as well or just when running as an instance in Logic?

It seems to work just fine in the standalone player.
No notes cutting off - just the Plugin in Logic - the latest version, no matter which keyboard I use.
Sounds like a plugin problem - do you think IK will fix this?

Will IK EVEN READ THIS?

It is significant that the cutting off of notes does not happen in MP2 Standalone.

You might also want to lodge a ticket with Logic support.

Maybe even post this on a specific Logic forum.

I did not know this. I’ve only been with IK since 2012. I submitted a ticket. We will see if they get it.
