controls along the bottom of ST4 non longer work

So, all the controls along the bottom (available when clicking on the white knob with a dot above on the far right) suddenly have no effect on the sound...they do nothing even when set to max (for testing only).

Is there some hidden switch somewhere to re-enable these?

The lock symbol on the far left is not lit, IE unchecked

EDIT: this is in AU mode in a host. macOS 12+ (Monterey)

What version of Sampletank 4 are you using? (The latest is 4.17)

Can you give the specific name of a patch where the controls have no affect?

Does this also happen in Sampletank 4 Standalone?
