Sound Libraries Locked

I tried running Miroslav and Syntronik in standalone mode.

One thing that seemed particularly suspect is that when I'd try to "rescan"instruments" in either program, the little "rescan" window with progress bar would come up but then quickly glitch out before even getting a rescan done.

I had a similar problem. They sent me this and it unlocked my library:

"Go into the Standalone Custom Shop application. To do this, make sure to have the latest version of Custom Shop installed via the IK Product Manager:

www.ikmultimedia.com/products/productmanager

Once installed, go into the Custom Shop application, click on your Profile, and on the dropdown menu select "Restore My Purchases"


This will then automatically Authorize all of your owned content."

Yes - restoring purchases in the custom shop worked for me too.

Indeed I don't think I'd ever opened this app. Perhaps it's a key part of the authorisation chain, needed to ensure that ST4 knows what's authorised or installed?

(And perhaps this step should be made more clear in the IK Product Manager.)

Using the Custom Shop > Restore My Purchases trick eliminated the locks on my purchased libraries. Thanks for the tip! IK Multimedia might want to include this step in the standard installation instructions.

I have asked for the IKPM to do this automatically when a relevant product is Registered / installed.

I purchased products during the 25 th anniversary group buy and was having same problem with Miroslav CE ... this restore my purchases worked.

Hej

Try this:
Remove Authorization Manager from Program in iMac
Reinstall Authorization Manager from website

Open:
Authorization Manager will then show Authorization Window

Authoriz your plugin/s again
It worked for me with American Acoustic

Ran into this problem with ST4 too on my new MBP. What worked for me was to remove sound library path in ST4, re-add library path and re-scan.
