My old presonus Firestudio has done its dash
I'm wanting DSP FX processing on an interface
Of course the only real choices out there right now are UAD and Antelope Audio
UAD is priced at about DOUBLE the R.R.P. it should be - thats just for the interface alone
Then you have to pay USD$ 150 - 350 for each plugin! When you've already payed through the nose for their system
Antelope audio priced a lot more realistically (although still pretty expensive) but they seem to be plauged with driver issues and sub par customer support and frankly I'm terrified to buy into a company with so many bad reviews
IK Multimedias plugins are easily as good as UAD (if not better)
T Racks Tape and Sunset Studio Reverb are AMAZING!
PLEASEEEEEEEEESE tell me that IK.MM is planning an interface to SMASH these two companies out of the market! With a killer DSP enabled interface for around the same price as a presonus, or MOTU product - And an IK MM DAW like UAD Luna - would just rock
You'd have 80% - 90% of the market in one punch!
HURRY or Arturia is bound to put something like this out soon
If its in the pipeline at IK MM... please someone give me a nod or a wink now
I'd hate to purchase one these bloated priced units from AA or UAD and be just GUTTED when IK MM puts one out for 1/2 the price with better plugins!
Under $1000 with 6 to 8 inputs would ROCK!
