Amplitube and Scarlett solo

Hi there,

I just bought a new Scarlett solo and I ran it into amplitube 5. It is not working. I read a lot of the forum messages and none of the solutions seems to make it run. I downloaded the ASIO4ALL pilots and it doesn't work neither.

The sound is awful with a lot of latency, it is totally unexploitable. I tried all the configs in amplitube (buffer sizes, restart the app ...).

I tried the scarlett through a mcbook with guitarband and it is instantly working, so the scarlett is not the problem.

I run my guitar directly through the scarlett and then usb to my computer.

I am sorry to hear about the problems you are running into.

As this is primarily a user to user forum, someone-else may chip in. But please remember that the same symptoms do not necessarily mean the same problem.

Meanwhile, the best thing to do is check the FAQs, via here. To resolve the problem I tried some basic moves as unplug/plug the usb, launch, install and desinstall amplitube and the scarlett pilots.

As i said, I directly plug my guitar into the scarlett and from there to my computer by usb.

For the settings, I tried them all, Windows audio, direct sound and asio. As input I set the 2nd channel (1st is for the XLR and mics). As output I tried all of them, closing the app, changing them all and restart at each time. I did the same for the buffer I tried all of them.

Overall, in certain configurations the sound changed a little, but in any it was something that I can use, way too much latency or awful sound.
