Questions about Amplitube 5

I am using amplitube 5 for windows and when I try to access certain features such as the mixer, I get a message saying this feature is only available in amplitube 5 but I am using 5??

I was previously using Amplitube Max do I need to purchase a new version of 5? Does it not upgrade the previous versions?

It sounds like you are using the AT5 Custom Shop edition (the free one). in AT5 CS you can use all your AT4 MAX gear (and it will be upgraded), but not all AT5 features are available.

AT4 and AT5 are separate programs, AT5 does not upgrade AT4 and does not replace AT4 on disk or in your projects. To get the new AT5 features you will need to buy one of the AT5 editions. Have a look in your USer Area / Crossgrades & Upgrades section for the best prices.
