Black screen when I run Amplitube 5.0.1 [Resolved]

Hi, problem with amplitube 5.0.1, when I run amplitube 5, I have a black screen? what to do ?

Maybe try going back to v.5.0.0 (it is under [Past Release] in your user Area / My Products / AmpliTube 5.

Outside of going back the previous version, you may want to check your graphics drivers to make sure you're running the latest from your graphic card/chipset manufacturer.

I would suggest continuing to work with IK Support but it wouldn't hurt to try rolling back to the previous version per DarkStar's suggestion to be able to use AmpliTube 5 in the mean time.

Maybe a sill point: double-check that your graphics is "OpenGL 2 compatible"; most are but it is worth checking.

Which graphic card / sub-system is in your system?

The first time I installed Amplitube 5, I loaded 5.0.1 and got the black screen. So I downloaded and installed 5.0. Same result.

I'll get hold of support, but in the meantime, has anyone come up with a fix? v.4 works just fine, so I'll continue to use it for the time being.

the solution, I had to change my pc that supports opengl 2.0, even changing the ram of my old pc and increasing the ram by 2gb in all I would have 4gb it didn't work so problem solved for me

I am glad that you have got it sorted out.

To help others, what do you think was the problem? The OpenGL 2.0 support on the graphics card or the RAM? What RAM amount do you have now?

the problem comes from opengl, must be more than 2.0, and this is not the ram involved
