I’m an older guy; I remember being a kid in the streets of Newton, MA, listening to the white noise going through VCFs forcing oscillation, with LFOs making sounds like a warbling helicopter; but to a young kid in 1970-71, who lived ten minutes up the street from ARP, and the sound - otherworldly - was very, very cool. Now, I’m a relic; but my desire to find great sounds, in this app-based musical world of today in smartphones - I’m in. I’m hip to the old school analog and early DCO synthesisers, how to tweak sounds via knob, slider, and later iterations like my current keyboard controller doing things via velocity and pressure/aftertouch. I guess you’ve gotta tell me to sell me. Thanks for reading. ☮️❤️
