I'm getting both post & pre-amplitube sound in my headphones

Postby stierney » Sat Nov 28, 2020 6:04 pm

Hi, apologies if this is a n00b question. I just set up Amplitube 4 using the Zoom H6 as my audio interface for my guitar. I have headphones coming out of the H6 and my audio setup in Amplitube is using H6 for both input/output.

Is there a way to just hear in my headphones exclusively the sound coming out of Amplitube and not have the dry, unaffected guitar signal in my headphones mixed in with it? This video explains it if I'm not articulating it well:

This may actually be a Zoom H6 question rather than an Amplitube question but any idea what I should be looking for here in either Amplitube or in the H6 settings? TIA

OK actually disregard this. I just figured it out and indeed it is a Zoom H6 issue. For anyone else who has this issue there's a setting called "Direct Monitor" in H6 settings. You need to make sure that is turned off and you'll only get the wet signal in your headphones. cheers

Don't worry, you are not the first to have that issue and you won't be the last. :) This thread will surely help others.
