Using Mac keyboard to trigger notes.(stand alone)

Hi

When using standalone version of Modo Bass I can play the notes with my MacBook Pro's trackpad but not with my Mac's keyboard unlike in Sampletank 4 stand alone the keyboard is automatically set up to play the notes. How do I set this up for Modo Bass?

I would think that the trackpad and keyboard are seen as different devices by MODO Bass. Setting it up is covered in section 3 (page 12) of the User Manual.
