unable to pan using an FX bus in Reaper

Hi! I can't figure this out and i've searched all over to find an answer. So I have two guitar tracks. Guitar 1 panned left and Guitar 2 panned right. I route them to an FX bus where I have AmpliTube providing distortion and effects to save processing power. It seems like the FX bus sends the signal to the master in mono because both guitar tracks are no longer panned but in dead center. Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

You need to select and set up a stereo chain (configs 2 or 6?) in AmpliTube.
