AmpliTube is mono when using stereo fx

I am using Real LPC as a vsti which is loaded as a stereo instrument.

When I load a stereo chorus into Amplitudes Insert rack ,I get a mono sound.

I have checked my DAW is stereo on the vsti track.

How do I fix this?

This is by design. In a real world mixing console where there is an insert per channel, each channel is mono. This is also the case with Amplitube 4. Below is from page 50 in the user manual:

Rack effects will be mono when used in the insert effects loop. Otherwise, insert effects function the same as rack effect. Please see the section on Rack effects for more information.

If you want the stereo effect, you'll have to use it in the rack at the end of the signal chain.

BTW, I have the MusicLab RealLPC 5 plugin.
