Use of 2 Irig Blue Turn independently- Interference?

Hi….
I work in a duo. Both of us were using the blue turn with ipods. My screen seemed to jump to the next page as my partner hit his foot pedal. Is it possible that when you pair one irig to the pad that it would work with any? Doesn't seem likely….
