When I attempt to install ST4 I get the following:

An error occurred while trying to create a file in the destination directory:
Setup was unable to create the directory "D\Documents\IK Multimedia\SampleTank 4".

Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.

Hello skyduster44 and welcome to the forum.

Is there anything odd about that folder? Are you installing as an Administrative-level user?

It sounds like a folder permissions issue which is odd on Windows.

Thanks for the reply.

I also assumed it was related to file permissions (and it may be...).
I've always found the permissions business a bit confusing but I
have given "Full Control" to all users. However the "Read Only"
checkbox in the initial properties dialog won't allow me to change it.

I am running the install as an Administrator.

SOLVED:

Win 10 Update introduced a problem. Go to Security Settings /
Virus and Threat Protection / Ransomware Protection.
Turn off Controlled Folder Access.

This is when Install needs to access "Documents" folder.

Turning off write access to the Documents folder????
